GLO won't charge

If your GLO speaker is not charging, follow these steps to identify and resolve the issue.

  1. Check the cable. Use the USB-C to USB-C cable included with your GLO, or another known-working USB-C cable. Try a different cable if you have one available.
  2. Check the power source. Plug the cable into a different USB-C port or adapter rated at 5V/2A. Avoid using low-power ports such as those on older computers or USB hubs that do not supply enough current.
  3. Inspect and dry the USB-C port. Look into the USB-C port for debris or moisture. If the port is wet, shake out any excess water and allow GLO to dry completely before attempting to charge again. Do not charge a wet speaker.
  4. Check the environment temperature. GLO may not charge properly in very cold or very hot conditions. Move the speaker to a room-temperature environment and wait 30 minutes before trying again.
  5. Confirm the charge light. When charging is working, the small red light near the USB-C port should be solid, not blinking. Blinking means the battery is critically low; leave it connected for at least 15 minutes to recover.
