A factory reset clears all paired device history and returns your GLO speaker to its default settings. Use this when troubleshooting persistent connection or audio issues.
Steps to reset
- Make sure your GLO speaker is turned on.
- Press and hold the Power button and the Volume - button at the same time.
- Hold both buttons for more than 3 seconds.
- You will hear a reset tone, followed by the numbers "two, five" spoken aloud. This is a normal manufacturer sound and does not indicate an error or a device ID. GLO does not otherwise use voice prompts.
- The speaker will then power off automatically.
- Press the Power button once to turn GLO back on. It will enter pairing mode as if new.
When to use a factory reset
- GLO will not pair or connect to any device.
- Bluetooth drops repeatedly after re-pairing.
- The speaker is behaving unexpectedly and other troubleshooting has not helped.
- You are giving or selling the speaker to someone else.
