This article lists what the limited warranty covers and what it does not.

What is covered

  • Functional failures under normal use
  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Internal electronic component failures
  • Battery defects that cause abnormal capacity loss beyond normal aging

What is not covered

  • Cosmetic wear that does not affect function
  • Normal battery aging
  • Accident, misuse, neglect, or drops
  • Unauthorized repair or modification
  • Damage from non-approved chargers or cables
  • Water or dust beyond the IP67 rating or outside the usage guidelines
  • Altered or unreadable serial numbers
  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers
